One of Western Australia’s favourite annual events, The City of Swan and Act-Belong-Commit Avon Descent Festival returns to a wonderful new location!

Perth's premier Pop Up Market, The Ladybird Market, is back at Lakeside Joondalup Shopping Centre for an incredible 13th time in the past year on Saturday, 5th August 2017 from 9am to 5pm.

To inspire and provide expert advice, the event includes free presentations from leading tour providers and destination experts.

Learn how to create amazing piped flowers with these new tips.

At this event, you can combine a spectacular view of the world-famous Avon Descent with delicious food and FREE all day family entertainment and all nestled in the picturesque rolling green hills of the Avon Valley.

Join us for an up-close encounter with some cute native animals.

A regular event for people who love to sew, knit, craft, scrapbook, paint, bead, quilt and even horde to come and check out fabrics, goodies galore and have a chat, and clear out their crafting supplies.

The theme of this years expo is Health and Wellbeing and will be a showcase of the local and regional programs, activities and services available to over 55s in the City of Swan.

An afternoon of performances by some of our students and teachers at the Perth Music House.

Join our volunteer tour guide exploring the woodlands of the Wunanga Bushwalk Trail perfect for bird-spotters, wildflower seekers, and nature-lovers alike!

Held on the first Saturday of the month, the fabulous Kalamunda Village Markets have over 200 ‘make it’ or ‘grow it’ stalls, from a diverse range of local artists, growers and craftspeople.

Join the master gardeners and horticulturalists from the Kings Park and Botanic Gardens for a free ‘Dig It With Coffee’ session where you can have your gardening questions answered by the professionals.

St Georges Cathedral will be hosting a series of free lunchtime concerts every second Wednesday in the city.
