Perth Makers Market - Mother's Day Special

Sunday 14th of May
If you are looking for something fun to do with Mum on Motherís Day that involves the whole family, take her to the Perth Makers Market on Sunday 14th May at the historic Heathcote Cultural Precinct in Applecross.

Set in the grounds of the stunning heritage reserve, you will enjoy a day of shopping, live entertainment, delicious food and plenty of fun Mother's Day themed activities. Recently named by The Weekly Review as one of the 'Top 17 Makers Markets in Australia' (and the only one named from Perth), Perth Makers Market brings together the premier talent of the local handmade community in one of Perthís most beautiful locations.

The Motherís Day special will showcase over 150 of Perth's most talented artisans, including passionate woodworking artists, creative fashion and accessory designers, talented painters and more. Let Mum choose a special gift from the beautiful woodwork, glassware, toys, clothing, terrariums, art, sculptures and many more beautiful items, many of which are totally unique and not available elsewhere.

As well as the fabulous pirate ship playground, there will also be a great selection of interactive kids activities on offer, including a face painter, balloon twister, story time, sand card art and giant games, plus special Mother's Day activities to enjoy throughout the day, including a colourful mini-manicure (perfect for mums and daughters), plus two fabulous craft workshops where you can make a leather necklace, key ring or bookmark or a beautiful flower crown.

There will be a photographer on site to capture a happy snap of mum with the kids, as well as great live music to listen to while you enjoy lunch from the amazing range of food stalls serving up delicious sweet and savoury treats.

For something a bit more refined you can always take mum to the Blue Water Grill for breakfast or lunch as well as exploring the on-site Museum and Gallery or enjoying the Artist Studios Open Day.

Perth Makers Market has something for the whole family this Mother's Day and is a market not to be missed.

Founded in 2016, Perth Makers Market aims to provide a platform for Perth's talented, high-quality crafters in a family-friendly location. All wares available at Perth Makers Market have been handcrafted in Western Australia, from design to production, so visitors and shoppers can be sure they're supporting local industries. Stalls are also available to students and emerging artists at a significant discount, in order to support young and up-and-coming makers who are trying to establish themselves early in their careers.
