The Surf on Turf pop up beach playground brings the beach to Midland for the very first time, and will be carving into Midland for one epic weekender. Slip, slide and splash your way through the water playground, soak up a packed program of family entertainment or just hang loose at the Midland Reporter Beach Cafe to enjoy some gourmet food truck fare.
There'll be sand sculptures, face painting, giant games and more. On the Midland Gate Main Stage you will see the Lulus, Bizircus, Pirateman, The Mermaids, Riley Pearce and other great live entertainment.
This unique family friendly event creates the one thing that Midland doesn’t have – a beach. City of Swan Councillor Mark Elliott says the event is a sign of things to come this summer. “We are always proud to bring events like this to our local communities as they not only add vibrancy and atmosphere to the area, but allow our community members to see their usual surroundings in a very different light.”
Surf on Turf is proudly sponsored by Midland Gate, Community News and Advance Print and promises to be a unique weekend you will be talking about for ages.
