TEACUP - One Boy's Story proudly supported by City of Perth

This is a unique multi-modal event, with an award winning picture book being translated into movement and music. Teacup is the story of a boy who must leave his home and find another.
This is truly a collaboration worth visiting: adapted by Composer Matt Ottley from the stunning book by Rebecca Young and Matt Ottley, performed by outstanding Perth musicians and surrounded by an exhibition of Matt Ottley's original paintings this is a unique free event for everyone.
Performances will run for 40 minutes and are suitable for all ages – no bookings required. It is a story about the human spirit, about loss and grief, love and joy, about beauty and high adventure.
When: Friday 27th (2.30pm) January, Saturday 28th (10.30am, 1pm, 2.30pm) and Sunday 29th January (10.30am, 1pm, 2.30pm)

Using historic photos of Perth and specially commissioned current photographs taken from as near the same angle as possible, this talk illustrates the growth and change to the city over the last 150 years.
